Roger Waters returns to Norway with his tour, "This Is Not A Drill".
Roger Waters has visited Telenor Arena three times before, each time with a double concert. (2011, 2013 and 2018). VG gave the concerts in 2018, dice roll 5 and wrote, among other things, "It was the evening when Telenor Arena sounded like an elegant quadrophonic hi-fi system".
"This will probably be the last time Roger Waters comes to Norway and he will do so with his biggest show ever! It will be a journey through Pink Floyd's world with 100 tons of sound and light rig hanging from the ceiling at Telenor Arena," says Rune Lem, Senior Promoter at Live Nation Norway.
Roger Waters will play 40 concerts in 14 European countries on his European tour in 2023. The show will feature 20 classics from Pink Floyd and Roger Waters, including: "Us&Them", "Comfortably Numb", "Wish You Were Here" and "Is This The Live We Really Want”. In addition, he debuts with the new song, "The Bar"
In addition to vocals, Waters plays both guitar, bass and piano, and with him on stage he has Jonathan Wilson (guitars, vocals), Dave Kilminster (guitars, vocals), John Carin (keyboards, guitar, vocals), Gus Seyffert (bass , vocals), Robert Walter (keyboards), Joey Waronker (drums), Shanay Johnson (vocals), Amanda Belair (vocals) and Seamus Blake (saxophone)
