Salige Syndere is a close-knit band consisting of a number of happy, over-musical oddities.

Salige Sindere creates a timeless atmosphere from a forgotten but long-awaited time. With beat and tone, they create macabre and beautiful music, which can make the most sinful souls feel smitten and sway to the music. The band usually uses acoustic instruments such as guitar, banjo and double bass, and ventures into various genres and styles.
The lyrics are performed through passionate and gospel-like harmonies, while the content of the lyrics illuminates themes such as; alcoholism, loss, despair, sin, salvation and reconciliation.
It is said that they have musical roots in Norway and America several generations back in time. Together, this forms an aesthetic image that is based on the Gothic, the dark and the sinful.

Salige Syndere plays more and more unique songs, but they also play well-known and unknown songs with their own twist.
The band is inspired by artists such as Bob Dylan, Tom Waits, Johnny Cash, Neil Young, Daniel Nordgren and other good Norwegian and American folk tunes.
