Saturday opera: Flowers and thorns

Opera til folket ('Opera to the people') presents an afternoon of Saturday opera at Gamle Raadhus, right in the city centre.

Throughout the history of opera, flowers have been a central symbol of different emotions such as love, purity, beauty, delusions, lust and betrayal. This afternoon, songs by Puccini, Delibes, Bizet and Cilea will take you through the flowers' reflection of life itself - where their blooming and colorful petals and dedly thorns describe the eternal change in nature, as well as in the human soul.

Performers: Olena Androsiuk - soprano, Marika Schultze - mezzo soprano, Olga Jørgensen - piano

It is recommended to buy your tickets in advance, but tickets are also sold at the door (pending availability). Doors and the bar open at 2.30 pm.
