Sing along with Bergen Cathedral Choir at the Sunday service
Of Schubert's masses no. 2 in G major is probably the most popular. It is a Missa Brevis (Latin for short mass), consisting of the six movements Kyrie, Gloria, Credo, Sanctus, Benedictus and Agnus Dei. It was originally composed for choir, organ and three soloists in less than a week in March 1815.
In Bergen Cathedral on 3 June the mass will be performed as an integral part of the Sunday service, with Bergen Domkor (the cathedral choir), an orchestra, soloists, and perhaps you too?
Before the service there will be a rehearsal in the cathedral. Come along and join in. The score is available on www.fib.no/syngmed.
