Seigmen is finally back with a tour, new song and a new album soon!

One of Norway's biggest rock bands is back! Who doesn't remember legendary classics like "Döderlein", "Hjernen er alene" and "Metropolis"? Songs that are forever etched into the musical DNA of many, after being a constant soundtrack through a busy 90s.

The new single "Disiplin" came on May 16th of this year, with the announcement of a new album. ´Dissonans´ will be released later this year. The journey towards “Dissonans” started already in the summer of 2024 when “Dyret” 23 bud came as the first single. Now we are going in a slightly different direction with “Disiplin”. The song takes its drum riff from a demo dated 1990 – straight to the point and straight forward, high tempo and energy. A song about having secrets, about holding back something of yourself and not always telling everything. This is music that draws nourishment from a dark and difficult period of lockdown and personal hardship, but which has also inspired a new level of creativity and productivity. Art and pain, inspiration and hardship - hand in hand. 

Then you should also keep in mind that there is an imaginary common thread here, that you should be able to sense a whole and see several chapters in a larger story when the journey is completed with a third album in 2027. But that is a story for a later occasion.

First of all, a new piece in this whole comes in the form of “Disiplin”, the second of ten songs that together will become the album “Dissonans” later this year.
