Sewing evening at the Main Library
You bring a project, we provide guidance and sewing machines, but please note that this is not a sewing course.
The sewing evening will still be in the reading room on the third floor of the Main Library.
The sewing machines available at the Main Library are Janome Hild, Baby lock victory (overlock) and Janome HD 9 professional (straight stitch machine).
The sewing evenings are great for those who are interested in:
Learning to use a sewing machine
Learning to repair clothes
Learning to redesign clothes
Understanding patterns
Meeting other sewing enthusiasts
We have basic sewing equipment such as thread, needles and scissors. Other types of equipment, such as zippers or buttons, you must bring yourself.
The sewing evenings are an event for adults. Children under 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult, and you are responsible for helping your child.
The event is free, and it is drop-in. It is not possible to reserve a place in advance.
