With their seamless blend of metal and dark hardcore, SIBIIR have definitely left their mark in the relatively few years they've been around. Known as a powerhouse of a live band, they have drawn full houses both here in the country and outside Europe, played festivals such as Roskilde, Øya, Wacken, Tons of Rock, Summer Breeze, Rockharz and Reload, toured Europe with Kvelertak twice, and made support jobs for bands such as Enslaved, END, Cult Leader and Spidergawd.
On the eve of 2016, they released their self-titled debut album on the credit label Fysisk Format to huge critics, before following up in 2019 with the critically acclaimed second album "Ropes" on the same label - which was also nominated for the Spellemannprisen in the Metal category.
On 14 June 2024, the band's third full-length "Undergang" will be released, also this time on Norwegian Physical Format, and the first samples promise really well. The record, which the band themselves describe as their best to date, was recorded with Ruben Willem (Haust) in Caliban Studios Storsjøen - and now they are finally ready to once again occupy stages both at home and abroad and deliver a terrific live show.
