Sigrun Loe Sparboe // Habitat

Register
Sigrun Loe Sparboe from Harstad released her fifth album, "Blåskjær", earlier this year, and has garnered glowing reviews all over the country.
In September, she will finally return to Trondheim.
The opening track from the album "Vi e fler" came through the eye of the needle and is at the top of the A-list on NRK P1.

Sigrun has a unique ability to write songs that sneak under people's skin. She depicts everyday life in a poetic, yet down-to-earth way. She is a storyteller of rank and one should do well to leave a concert with this songwriter from Harstad unmoved.

"Blåskjær" is a collection of songs about our need to quickly make an impression and about relationships. It is also about reactions to society's thundering pace and how the distinction between fake and real is getting smaller and smaller. It is about longing to return to nature and not standing in the way of oneself. She has also been given space for a disappearance mystery from 1954!

The artist with a unique presence on stage was awarded the prestigious NOPA's music and lyrics prize 2015. She has also received the Ole Vig prize for her musical commitment, as well as Harstad city's culture prize. Sigrun is the niece of Kirsti Sparboe.

When Sigrun Loe Sparboe released her Norwegian debut in 2013, Musikknyheter (Anders Ekelund) wrote that she was one of the most talented songwriters in the country. This talent has blossomed!

With him at Habitat is Sigrun Mattias Krohn Nielsen on guitar, and Sverre Tollefsen Laupstad on keyboards.
