A wonderful walking play on Norwegian Christmas traditions.
December 27 and 29 Maihaugen put ut the walking play "Silent night - a walk through Norwegian Christmas traditions". The play is a an evocative walk through the open-air museum at Maihaugen – a travel in time from the 1700s to our time. Along the tour you will explore Christmas from different times.
The traditional dressed-up "Yule-goat" leads us around as we visit farms and homes from the 18th, 19th and 20th century. People in the historical houses will invite you in to see and hear more about old Christmas tradtions.
The tour takes 60 minutes, and there will be a maximum of 26 tickets.
Suits adults and children from 7 years. Remember good shoes and warm clothes.
