"Silya is a powder keg. She set fire to the Work.” - Helgeland Arbeiderblad

"Entertainment of international class" - Avisa Nordland

"There is no doubt that Silya is one of the hottest acts on the Norwegian stage" - Hissig

As the spring light gradually fades into carefree summer nights, Silya cruises towards setting the tone for fans' playlists with the pop song "Don't Dim My Light". It oozes both profit and joy from the artist who combines a life between farming, television production and grand anniversaries with KORK and Pride.-I wanted the song to have a carefree feel, for you to feel all the possibilities that lie ahead of you. The song is also a reminder to keep shining when negative thoughts and vibes try to make you feel the opposite.

There is always someone who will try to dim your light in order to shine themselves..when there is room for everyone. And perhaps that is why the song will also be performed live for the first time at the opening of Oslo Pride, with KORK, at the concert For a Voice ! which is a tribute to the 50th anniversary of Oslo Pride. Songwriter and entertainer "Don't Dim My Light" is the third single from Silyaskommende full-length.

The popular entertainer released, "Rebel Unravel" on January 26 and "Help Is On The Way" on March 15, which are drops from the upcoming album "What If It All Works Out", which she has written with producer Roar Nilsen. To be being in the studio again has been a real kick, and she has enjoyed being in the "bubble". Wind instruments have been replaced by synths, and songs are written with confidence and insecurity. But it is on stage, live, that Silya likes best. So to have the opportunity to play "Don't Dim My Light" at Pride and to go on an album tour to Oslo, Trondheim, Bergen this autumn, stands tall.

The public will also meet her as a judge on Norske talenter this autumn. «Don't Dim My Light» will be released on 24 May. The album "What If It All Works Out" will be released on September 6. About SilyaSilya is one of Norway's strongest live artists and has played countless concerts with her band Silya & the Sailors in recent years. Having devoted almost her entire life to music, Silya has become a rare powerful musician and songwriter with a presence that captivates audiences and reviewers every time she performs.
