The punk pioneers in Social Distortion celebrate their 40th anniversary this year. They have been an important source of inspiration for bands such as Guns N' Roses and Pearl Jam, collaborated with Rancid and Danzig and been on tour with Neil Young and Ramones. Their trademark is hard rockabilly/punk, fronted by Mike Ness' melodic lyrics.
