Despite being easily placed in the indie category, Sports Team makes raw and bloodthirsty rock that is mostly related to American Parquet Courts. They do so with texts that dive into the banalities of modern life and complete disorder. They are a bit like a loving but dysfunctional family, who for one second quarrel so the rags fly and the next laughs so the tears roll.

The band is a "fan band" in the true sense of the word - known for its crazy, sweaty concerts.
