Nord university and Centre for Excellent IT-Education is hosting a summer school in game development and coding for kids starting in 6th and 7th grade this fall.
It runs from the 22nd of June to the 26th, 09:00 to 15:00 each day.
It is being held at InnoCamp, and we serve lunch and fruit - the kids only need to bring good mood and a keen interest to learn.
This year we're focusing on design, functionality and building an e-sport based game. The kids will learn about which elements to think about when creating a competitive game, and be a part of finishing a framework project with their own code and models.
It is beneficial for the kids to have some knowledge in using keyboards and understand English, but as long as they're eager to learn they should sign up.
We have 20 spaces, priorities goes to 10 boys and 10 girls as much as we can, and we're also prioritising new signups over those that have participated earlier.
HOW TO SIGN UP
Send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org by the 14th on June. We'll respond as soon as possible, as far as we are able to.
