Sunday brunch

​Take a seat at the longest table in Bergen.

Gathering around for a meal is one of the most enjoyable things we can do. This Sunday, we arrange the tables and benches, and invite everyone in Bergen and the surrounding areas for a joint Sunday brunch.

Bring a packed lunch, leftovers from yesterday's dinner, a hot dog from the kiosk or something to share and take a seat in the centre of town. Come alone or with others, and feel free to sit next to someone you have never met. It is precisely the people around this table who make up this city, its identity and traditions, and food is a language everyone speaks.

The event is in collaboration with Bærekraftige liv, which has done much work on the importance of food and meals for a community, society and relationships. The hosts will ensure conversation starters and that everyone is having a good time, and perhaps there will be a few surprises along the way.
