Welcome to the Sunday ImproJam with Andrea Winsnes on 27 October 2024 5-7pm at DansiT, Strandveien 33, Trondheim.

The session will start with a collective warm-up before entering the Jam - an open space where you can improvise freely and explore movements and sounds both alone or with others.
The theme of the event is the meeting point. We will work on basic contact work, how to give and receive weight. The focus will be on testing different approaches to contact work, and how to find different points of balance with a partner.
The ImproJam is held by dance artist Andrea Winsnes. Dance experience is not required. Musicians are very welcome to bring their own instruments and jam with us.
Doors open 15 minutes before the event and will be closed by the start of the event.

ImproDans Trondheim wants to offer an open and safe space for movement and sound exploration and a playful approach to improvisation.

Bio: Andrea Winsnes is a dance artist with a special interest in partnering and improvisation. She is also a DJ, and is curious about music's place and influence in shaping a collective movement landscape. Andrea has been based in Trondheim since 2022, and is part of the dance companies Danselaboratoriet and Danseteateret.
