Welcome to the Sunday ImproJam with Andrea Winsnes on 24th of November 2024 5-7pm at DansiT, Strandveien 33, Trondheim.

The session will start with a collective warm-up before entering the Jam - an open space where you can improvise freely and explore movements and sounds both alone or with others.
The theme of the event is new ways. We will do various tasks that lead us to break out of familiar movement paths. Through playful methods, we will explore new movements, both by observing, copying and manipulating each other's movements.
The ImproJam is held by dance artist Andrea Winsnes. Dance experience is not required. Musicians are very welcome to bring their own instruments and jam with us.
Doors open 15 minutes before the event and will be closed by the start of the event.

ImproDans Trondheim wants to offer an open and safe space for movement and sound exploration and a playful approach to improvisation.

Bio: Andrea Winsnes is a dance artist with a special interest in partnering and improvisation. She is also a DJ, and is curious about music's place and influence in shaping a collective movement landscape. Andrea has been based in Trondheim since 2022, and is part of the dance companies Danselaboratoriet and Danseteateret.
