We invite young musicians into the orchestra and to the soloist position.

Super Thursday is part of our talent initiative, and is arranged in collaboration with Trondheim Cultural School and the Talent Development Program for Young Musicians (TUP) at NTNU Music. The concert gives young people aged 13-20 the opportunity to perform orchestral repertoire side by side with professional musicians.

Teaching and group rehearsals in advance are part of the process, and especially talented students are given solo assignments and solo parts. Good educational planning and facilitation ensure a sense of mastery in each individual, with the goal of creating a taste for more as well as musical development.

Super Thursday is part of the Talent Trondheim collaboration.
