Sweden's biggest rock star and one of Scandinavia's most charismatic and best live artists is coming to Trondheim and Olavsfest.
The concert in Borggården will be Thåström's first concert in Trondheim since 2018, and the only concert he will do in Norway this summer.

Joakim Thåström's artistic work has left a strong mark on several generations of alternative rockers, also here in Norway - first with punk pioneers Ebba Grön and later a broad breakthrough with Imperiet.
For many artists whose band career includes two such influential bands, their solo material rarely reaches the same level and we go to concerts primarily to reminisce about 30-year-old hits. That's not the case with Thåström. Few manage to stay relevant and still be as artistically interesting over many decades, but Thåström is still a vital creative force in Scandinavian rock 45 years after his debut.
- Older, but never tamer
Thåström's provisional last album, "Somliga av oss", came out in the autumn of 2024 and received, among other things, a roll of the dice five from iTromsø reviewer Egon Holstad. About the latest album, Thåström himself says: "I wanted to focus on the beautiful, instead of in these terrible times. I have thought for a long time, to try to avoid navelschåderiet och deppet".
At the concert, Thåström has Niklas Hellberg on keys, Per Eklund on drums, Stefan Brisland on keys, Christian Kjellvander on guitar and Henrik Kisa Nilsson on bass.
