Welcom to the food and cultural festival 

Once a year a miracle happens; the lovesick cod (skrei) returns from the Barents Sea to the islands of Vikna!

During the festival, you can ezperience the costal history and the costal culture through different happenings. Please remember to taste our national food; fresh cod (skrei), liver and roe. We also serve our own fishsoup "Viknasuppa".
