The Beatnuts

In the 90s, The Beatnuts were the primary purveyors of catchy hip-hop tunes. Hits such as "Watch Out Now", "Off the Books", "No Escapin' This", "Props Over Here" and "Se Acabo" quickly made them favourites among hip-hop connoisseurs, including Norway.

The duo from Queens, New York originally consisted of four members, and they debuted already in 1993 with Intoxicated Demons: The EP. Eventually, Fashion (later Al Tariq) and V.I.C dropped out while rappers/producers JuJU and Psycho Les continued to release classic albums and songs. There have been six albums, in addition to producing tracks for artists such as Fat Joe, Mos Def, Ghostface Killah and Common. In addition, they formed the supergroup Liknuts together with Alkaholiks in 2016. The legend Q-Tip (ATCQ) has also proclaimed that Beatnuts are members of legendary Native Tongues.

A full 10 years have passed since the last time the guys were in Norway, and fans can look forward to a reunion with two legends, who were part of one of the very best periods of hip-hop.
