The Midnight Specials are not your average blues band. They are four grown men with a deep love for blues, soul and rock'n'roll who cultivate good songs and spontaneity.

The band started as a tribute to the music from Sun Studio in the 50s that fostered legends such as Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash and Carl Perkins in 2013.
A concert with The Midnight Specials is never the same as a previous concert. The band plays without any safety net, set lists are prohibited. Vocalist/keyboardist Frank Scott and vocalist/bassist Terje Craig take turns choosing songs.
Communication with the audience is important, and sometimes the band is challenged to play things they have never done before. That usually works out well too...

Guitarist Per-Anders Elvertrø and drummer Ingar Frelsøy also have a long history and a broad musical background, so here you just have to take your seats and join the journey.
The band was in Sun Studio in 2015 and recorded the EP Sun Sessions EP, vol 1 which is available on all streaming services. As the title indicates, there are plans for a sequel...
