The silent language has long traditions on the family farm in Tolga, which Ingrid Viksmo returned to after training as an artist specializing in weaving.

Ingrid Viksmo has always been interested in her own textile history and the farm's long textile tradition. In her works, she closely follows her ancestors' beautiful textile work that testifies to belonging, necessity and creative urge.

The path from weaving to embroidery as a form of expression has been a necessity for Ingrid, embroidery can be taken everywhere.
