A journey of discovery at a new playground in the middle of the city.

Come and play with the whimsical game creations of the Catalan company Tombs Creatius. Through nine specially built play boxes, you will meet exciting characters and fabulous discoveries from Mr. Tonet's wondrous travels.

The homemade games are made from reclaimed wood, kitchen utensils and other scraps and invite children and adults alike to bring out their inner child for play and wonderment in an imaginative meeting place.

What happens when the wooden ball takes a detour, and what hides behind the peephole? Each game triggers events in a wooden crate nearby. New characters and stories emerge. The company's artful sculptures contain more surprises than one would think and, through sound, light, and mechanics, capture the attention of anyone with the spirit of an explorer.

Tombs Creatius' distinctive play boxes have been a popular outdoor feature at several festivals and are a welcome return to the Festival Square.
