About the Exhibition: This exhibition is a visual love letter to Trondheim, with a playful wink. The city between the fjord and the hills, the cobblestones and coffee cups, the shifting weather and the people who give the city its soul are all given a gentle, sideways glance here. Through the lens and the brush, I have captured everyday moments, the small absurdities, and the charming quirks that make Trondheim and its people, the Trønders,     so unique. The images are inspired by my work on my book ‘The Trønders’, and invites the audience to recognize the genuine and familiar spirit of the city: the humor, the warmth, the pride, and the quiet (and sometimes very stubborn) courage that hides in the little details.

Welcome to an exhibition that celebrates Trondheim with both heart and laughter!

The Style:
All illustrations are first hand-drawn with pencil, ink, and/or charcoal, before being further processed digitally by the artist. Using D.G.A. technique through Corel Painter and Adobe illustrator and Photoshop, craftsmanship and technology merge, where the analog meets the digital in a vibrant and creative process. I take a playful and varied approach to creative work and enjoy exploring the boundaries between traditional techniques and modern tools to give my images a unique expression.
