Jens Hoel born in 1951, has a long experience at sea. He sailed for 10 years as a deckhand, easy sailor, sailor and acting boatswain. in the period -60, -70 and -80. He has been a steward on several ships and ashore. Most recently as the Union Leader of the Hotel and Restaurant Workers' Union. He is also known as an author, with the book "Yrke: Matros Formue: Null".
