Torgeir Waldemar

Experience Torgeir Waldemar in Oslo Concert Hall.

Tonight is the grand opening of Torgeir Waldemar's European tour. Before moving on to Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium, Torgeir will fill the house with his most famous songs, along with a fireworks display of a band.

There will also be a premiere. In September, Torgeir will release the album ‘Mercy’, the long-awaited sequel to ‘Love’ from 2022, and you will be served highlights from it, performed live for the very first time.

In 2014, Torgeir Waldemar took the audience and a gathered Norwegian press corps by storm when he launched his self-titled debut album, a debut that received two nominations for the Spellemann Prize.
The sore and acoustic sound of the first album was later replaced by the electric and harder second album ‘No Offending Borders’, which, like its predecessor, received rave reviews, not only in Norway but also in foreign media. Like her debut, ‘No Offending Borders’ was also nominated for fiddler.

The real international recognition came with the album ‘Love’, which received praise from a number of recognised magazines such as Mojo, Uncut, Visions Magazine, Classic Rock and Da Music, with massive sales figures in the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, as well as Norway and Scandinavia.

Experience Torgeir Waldemar in Oslo Konserthus, from sensitive acoustic to harder electric, but also experimental, exploratory and progressive.
