The award-winning and Grammy-nominated songwriter remains uncensored, distinct and strangely relatable.
Since 2014 and the single "Habits (Stay High)", which sold to multiplatinum, Tove Lo has built a solid fan base that loves her unrestrained way of interpreting love and relationships, in all their ups and especially downs. On the 2016 album Lady Wood, she perfected an unmistakable sound that can only be described as intensely danceable and wonderfully dark, with a penchant for addressing thought-provoking and challenging topics wrapped in brilliant pop. The singles "Cool Girl" and "True Disaster" reached the top of the Swedish charts and 11th place on the Billboard Top 200.
Since then, she has collaborated with Coldplay, Charlie XCX, Duran Duran, Flume and Nick Jonas, among others, and written songs for Lorde, Icona Pop and Ellie Goulding, with the 2019 hit "Love Me Like You Do". That same year, the album "Sunshine Kitty" came out, with a more frivolous, softer sound that never compromised on her sincere rawness. She was last heard on the Euphoria soundtrack with the obscure disco song "How Long" and will soon be back from Tove Lo with new material. This summer she will be with Dua Lipa on the Norway tour "Nostalgia Tour".
