This evening, the drums are literally at the center as Trøndelag Big Band tackles the music of the legendary Buddy Rich. With not one, not two, but three of the country’s foremost drummers – Håkon Mjåset Johansen, Truls Rønning and Steinar Heide Bø – lined up in the front row, this will be a concert filled with intensity, energy and raw swing!

Together and individually, they will drive the band through a number of classics from the Buddy Rich Big Band repertoire, including songs like “Ya Gotta Try”, “Norwegian Wood”, “Groovin’ Hard” and “Time Check”. Here, there will be punch, tempo and big band swing of the highest class – an evening you don’t want to miss!
