Trønder apple cider with Inderøy Mosteri and ØX

This is a course held in connection with the Trøndelag Food Festival 2025.

Norwegian apple cider has been in a state of rapid development and growth for many years, and now production is also starting to pick up in Trøndelag. 

Yngve from Inderøy Mosteri will come to talk about what it is like to grow apples in Trøndelag, what it takes to produce top-quality apples for cider production and present some of his flavors. 

Ulrik from ØX will talk about the production of cider from apple must to finished product, what makes Norwegian and Trøndelag ciders special and present different styles of cider.

About the course presenters:
ØX is located in the middle of the market square in Trondheim and, in addition to a brewery and distillery, has produced apple cider since 2017. Ulrik Bjerkeli is head distiller at ØX and has been involved in building up both the brewery and the distillery.

Inderøy Mosteri with Yngve Henriksen is the most successful apple cider producer in the entire region and has worked hard over the past year to take the step from must to cider.
