British-born saxophonist Will Vinson, Israeli guitarist Gilad Hekselman and American Nate Wood on drums and bass first came together at one of New York’s legendary club residencies at Cornelia Street Café – and the chemistry and excitement was immediate.

Each of them has their own formidable reputation as bandleaders/composers, but when they started playing together with all the freedom the trio format gave, the music found its own creative directions that surprised and delighted them all.
