Norwegian jazz saxophonist Trygve Seim has worked with both large and small ensembles, and is a musician that keeps exploring new paths. He has made his mark on more recent Norwegian jazz history via groups such as Airamero, Oslo 1300 and The Source, not to mention his own Trygve Seim Ensemble with multiple releases on ECM. He has also studied Egyptian music and worked in bands with Manu Katché, Iro Haarla, Jacob Young og Sinikka Langeland. Trygve Seim Helsinki Songs is the name of his new quartet.
