Overview

Slow Is The New Fast has existed for three years, and already released their second album, Slower, in April. The band have played their playful folk- and world music and dark and mystical expressive jazz both in Norway and abroad.

Lyder Øvreås Røed – trumpet
Håkon Aase – fiddle
Henriette Eilertsen – flute
Bjørn-Even Bjarkli Verbeke – piano
Joel Ring – bass
Tore Ljøkelsøy – drums

With renewal and curiosity as a common denominator, the quintet Meander, lead by pianist Leo Dommernes Sundström, explore the intersection between lyrically open and rhythmically complicated music.

Leo Dommersnes Sundström - piano
Harald Lassen - saxophone
Richard Köster - flugelhorn
Joel Ring - bass
Hans Hulbækmo - drums
