Wednesday debate: Watt! So expensive electricity?

Get tickets here
In recent years, Norway has seen record high electricity prices. Most people suffer from high bills, while electricity is being sent out of the country. This has created a huge stir in the media and political organizations. Norway's cooperation with the EU is often blamed for high energy prices. Through the EEA agreement, Norway is linked to the EU's internal energy market, which has, among other things, created controversy over the EU's energy agency, ACER. We welcome you to a debate that will examine why electricity prices are high, why more is not being built, what Norway's cooperation with the EU has to say about electricity prices and what should happen next.

Doors open at 18:45, and the event will be held in Skala. The event is free.

The meeting will be streamed on the Society's YouTube channel. The meeting will also be uploaded in its entirety to the YouTube channel afterwards.
