Wikipedia writing course for women in Trondheim

Get tickets here
Women are underrepresented as contributors to Wikipedia, and Wikimedia Norway wants to help change this bias. In collaboration with Trondheim Public Library and Feministhuset, we are organizing a Wikipedia writing course for women in Trondheim and the surrounding area.

The course is suitable for women of all ages who are interested in sharing knowledge and who want to contribute to Wikipedia. People with a different gender identity are also welcome. Among the contributors to Wikipedia, there are several underrepresented groups, and WMNO works to strengthen diversity.

Before the course starts, participants create a Wikipedia user account. The course is in two parts and the first part is at Trondheim Public Library in the Magistratsalen. You will need your own PC to do some tasks.
Part two is a digital meeting on Thursday 27.2. at 18:00.

The course is free, but registration is required at: https://wikimedia.no/paamelding

The writing course is part of the project Strengthening the role of women on Wikipedia, which is supported by the Norwegian Directorate for Children, Youth and Family Affairs (Bufdir)

Welcome to the writing course!
