Welcome to an exclusive seminar about this year's exhibition, ENGINE by Wilhelm Sasnal. The program contains a conversation between Wilhelm Sasnal and curator Rhea Dall, followed by a lecture by Adam Szymczyk, Artistic Director of documenta 14.
The seminar is held in English, it is deadline for registration by email and the maximum audience capacity is 50 guests.
Program Thursday 23rd August:
16:30 Bus departs from Oslo Central Station to Kistefos
18:00 Registration for the seminar at Kistefos' administration house – where the seminar is held
18:15 - 19:00 Introduction by curator Rhea Dall, followed by a talk between Rhea Dall and Wilhelm Sasnal
19:30 - 20:15 Lecture by Adam Szymczyk
20:15 - 21:15 Time to see the Wilhelm Sasnal exhibition ENGINE, in the Art Hall
21:30 Bus returns to Oslo Central Station.
• 150 NOK per participant
• 250 NOK (including bus round trip Oslo - Kistefos) per participant.
The 30 seats on the bus are available on a "first come, first served basis".
Registration is binding. Please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and pay the participation fee before Friday 17th of August at 12:00. Information in regards to payment will be sent out when the regestration is made. If the fee is not transferred before this deadline, your seat will be given to someone else.
Rhea Dall is the director of UKS (Young Artists' Society). She was the co-founder of PRAXES and of the artistic Directors of Bergen Assembly 2016. Dall has also held positions at Kunsthal Charlottenborg, the Berlin Biennale's and The Danish & Nordic Pavilions in Venice.
Adam Szymczyk is Artistic Director of documenta 14 in Athens and Kassel. He was a co-founder of the Foksal Gallery Foundation in Warsaw in 1997 and was Director at Kunsthalle Basel, Switzerland 2003-2014.
