12 and 13 September: A new production dedicated to those who survived the 20th century
Jonas Corell Petersen’s new production digs into nostalgia and is dedicated to those who survived the 20th Century.
Director and playwrite Jonas Corell Petersen is back at the National Theatre with his new play Work in progress: Searching for community. With his particular scenic language, Petersen has become one of our most recognised theatrical creators, who through absurd, humorous and serious means tackles the great existential questions mankind struggles with.
Petersen’s earlier productions at the National theatre, Øy (Island) in 2016 and Vi tygger på tidens knokler (We gnaw on the bones of time) in 2015, received rave reviews.
The performance is included in the programme of the 2018 International Ibsen Festival, and will be performed with English subtitles during the festival period.
