Beforefrances is a Norwegian indie band with roots in bedroom grunge and alternative pop. Their music springs from hard-edged melancholy and existential unrest, but is carried by guitar-driven songs that make it impossible to stand still.

The band created a lot of attention during by:Larm, where they played to a packed Ingensteds, and has since built an ever-growing audience, also outside the country's borders.

In 2025, Beforefrances has spent a lot of time in the studio writing and finishing their debut album, which will be released in early March. The album will be followed up with an album tour around Norway.
