In the middle of summer, Jo Nesbø and Lars Jones take the trip down to the quay by the Trondheimsfjord. Welcome to a brunch concert with Jo Nesbø at Ladekaia on July 16th!

**Jo Nesbø** first broke through as a songwriter and vocalist in the pop band Di Derre. With six album releases and country hits like Jentero and Rumba med Gunn (1-2-3), they are the very definition of the sound of Norwegian 90s pop. Jo Nesbø has also had an active solo career as a musician, where he often performs with an acoustic guitar around his neck and bassist Lars Jones by his side.

Furthermore, Jo Nesbø has written his name in literary history as one of the world's leading crime writers through his popular crime series about private investigator Harry Hole.

What started as a one-off event has gradually developed into a duo where Jo Nesbø tells stories and plays together with multi-instrumentalist Lars Jones. The idea was to present the stories in the simplest possible way, using what you have at hand: a guitar, a bass, a harmonica and two voices. On a good evening, that's all you need to create laughter, reflection and closeness.

**Lars Jones** is a sought-after musician, both live and in the studio, and has collaborated with, among others, Anne Grete Preus, Dronning Mauds Land, Grete Svensen and Di Derre. He has also released the solo album Raindrops to the Desert (1996).
