The Norwegian Air Force Band and KUK present the concert "Close to Nature", where the repertoire is inspired by the themes surrounding Edvine Larssen's exhibition Ice Mountain Technique.
"Larssen wants to create sensual and imaginary works that are based on natural references such as icebergs and glaciers, but also on the seasons, as an image of transience. The climate crisis is now a sad fact. Our glaciers shrink more in the summer than they gain in the winter, and this can be considered a backdrop for this exhibition, which also has clear references to literature and theater."
Soloists and chamber groups from the Norwegian Air Force Band have been inspired by Larssen's striking art, and the concert will be performed in front of the art installation Isbreen (Glacier) in Bingohallen. Welcome to a concert in the spirit of nature.
