Copenhagen-based composer, producer and DJ Dragongirl is known for her dynamic and raw sonic worldbuilding, which blends club music and electronic experimentation.
She is interested in how music can build worlds, create spaces, have its own form of tactility and put the body into different states. She explores this on her debut album – the sound journey and club adventure hot blue – as well as on three EPs and several performing arts projects.
Although her music is often described as apocalyptic, it is not dystopian in nature, but brings hope and light. With suggestive and evocative tones, she works towards a future where dragons and machines live side by side.
