Come as you are to this interactive journey with sound and movement, where ImproDans Trondheim and musician Joel Hynsjö invite you to play and express yourself. In the space between silence and chaos we find community and become aware of the echoes between us. Come and go as you please, and participate as much as you wish. Sit in silence and observe or follow the flow.
ImproDans Trondheim wants to offer an open and safe space for exploration of movement and sound, as well as a platform for site-specific and cross-artistic performances based on improvisation. With this performance they facilitate an experience that is open to everyone, by creating a playful and inclusive space together with the audience in collaboration with Hynsjö.
Joel Hynsjö brings his newly developed Hybrid-Darabuka instrument, and explores the boundaries between intuition, improvisation, the static and the unpredictable. Through suggestive, repetitive rhythms and an expansive soundscape, the audience is invited to enjoy the long movements of the music and at the same time be captivated by the smallest variations.
