The event takes place on August 1st, 2026, in Efjord, bringing participants together for a unique combination of swimming, cycling, and running through iconic scenery. The course takes athletes past landmarks such as the Efjord bridges, Stortinden, and the majestic Stetinden often referred to as Norway’s national mountain.
Efjord Extreme offers several distances, including the classic 70.3 (half-distance), Olympic distance, and team competitions. This makes the event accessible both for experienced triathletes and for those looking to challenge themselves for the first time.
