Sandnes is a municipality with great artistic diversity and many highly skilled performers without celebrity status. On Foajé Saturdays, you meet a selected group of professional artists from different genres, some of whom you may already be familiar with. This Saturday, you can experience a concert project created by the professional flutist Laura Lovišková.
Laura Lovišková – flute
Svitlana Ivanova – flute
Elias Mursula – piano
This is a unique musical concert project created by the professional flutist Laura Lovišková, based on both traditional and modern gems from the flute repertoire. Flute Poetic tells stories from different centuries. The artistic concept embraces a wide range of styles and has opened the door to new collaborations between musicians and colourful instrumental combinations.
For the Foajé Saturdays concert series, we have chosen to present works written for two flutes and piano. The concert repertoire spans a broad range of styles, including classical music, groovy jazz, rhythmic Latin American music, Hungarian traditional folk music, dramatic opera melodies, as well as lyrical and expressive film music.
