Night of May 1st: KJÖTER Doors open 20:00 - Concert starts 21:00 - Age limit 18 years.
Kjöter is the band that has cracked the code of Norwegian punk rock and that follows tradition without being afraid to push boundaries. They deliver solid songs with a raw expression that makes you feel like you're discovering an authentic Norwegian band from the 80s for the first time.
The guys kicked off the Norwegian rock scene in 2022 with a self-titled debut EP recorded at Tinnitus Studio, and have since established themselves as one of the most exciting new bands in the country. In 2023, they followed up with a series of concerts and their first Norwegian tour, where they played in Oslo, Bergen, Trondheim, Drammen and Kristiansand, among other places - and won over the audience with their energetic, uncompromising live expression.
The band has already shared the stage with heavyweights like The Dogs, Oslo Ess, Backstreet Girls and Valentourettes. Their cover of "Jeg Vil Ha En Liten Hund" (2023) has established itself as a live phenomenon and a crowd favorite.
On June 2025, Kjöter released their long-awaited debut album – a rough, melodic and uncompromising collection of songs that capture the band's raw nerve and strong songwriting instinct. The album represents a natural next step in the band's development, and marked the start of a new chapter. In the wake of the release, studio time and a new tour are planned, where Kjöter will once again bring their high-octane rock to both old and new fans around the country.
REVIEWS:
"Is it Jokke? Is it Raga? Is it a cover band? Is it a parody? No, it's Kjöter! It could have gone horribly wrong to imitate in this way, but with "Kjøttkaker" these young Kongsberg guys do a true feat of art in passing on a sacred tradition in exactly the right way."
"Norwegian punk and rock history lives in this song - and even more in these vocals." ● NATT&DAG - https://nattogdag.no/2024/03/hvordan-star-det-til-i-norsk-ponk/
“High-pitched, fast-paced and lively music - Kjöter has accomplished a lot in a short time, and has established themselves as an ambitious band. They are busy guys who are here to put Norwegian rock on the map again” ● Bandorg - https://www.bandorg.no/nyheter/mer-kjoter-i-monitor
“With a clear Jokke inspired sound, they are a product of their predecessors, they list the Backstreet Girls” ● Lillebror Magasin - https://lbmagasin.com/2025/05/26/hvem-faen-er-kjoter/
