Northern Norwegian winter concert with HOANNA

When the days grow shorter and winter settles over the country, Hoanna travels around to her favourite places with Sola snur, a North Norwegian winter concert with traditional songs, original songs and well-known Christmas songs.

Hoanna is a traditional singer and songwriter from Steigen in Nordland and writes intimate and apt lyrics about love between people, for places and for the life we live. With a guitar in her hands, North Norwegian cultural heritage in her bones and a special ability to connect with people in the room, there will be laughter, seriousness and stories that are easy to recognise yourself in.

Sola snur blends original songs with well-known Christmas songs in Hoanna's expression. But winter is bigger than Christmas. Festive atmosphere can also be found in the darkness, in the nature around us, in meetings between people and in the light that slowly returns.

This evening Antikvariatet becomes our shared winter room. A place to come in from the November weather, find something good in your glass, drop your shoulders and be together for a while. It will be warm, intimate, fun and really cosy, like coming into a warm room after being out in a stiff gale. And however clichéd it may sound, that is exactly what this time is about: meeting, getting a little closer and feeling the warmth from each other.
