Have you heard the one about the Norwegian, the Swede and the Dane who met at Nye Hjorten Teater?
This is not a joke, but on the contrary a very entertaining and topical meeting between three strong voices from Scandinavia – and one of the most popular podcasts in the Nordic region.
The Norwegian, the Swedish and the Danish is a weekly radio program and podcast broadcast on NRK (Norway), SR (Sweden) and DR (Denmark). Here, Hilde Sandvik (Norwegian journalist and presenter), Åsa Linderborg (Swedish author and public debater) and Hassan Preisler (Danish playwright and cultural figure) meet to discuss politics, culture and society – with both seriousness, brotherly teasing and a lot of humor.
For Olavsfest 2026, the trio will return to Trondheim for the fourth year in a row. Previously, they have filled Byscenen and Palmehaven, but in 2025 they found a new home at the lovely Nye Hjorten Teater. Expect entertaining "family therapy" between neighboring countries!
With sharp analyses, humor and deep understanding of society, The Norwegian, the Swedish and the Danish give the audience a different and thought-provoking experience – and a breather in the midst of the seriousness of the world.
Possible guests will be announced later.
