Sonatas and pieces from the Baroque period

A wonderful oasis of a concert, let yourself melt with Sonatas and plums from the Baroque with musicians from NTNU!

This Saturday we will hear sonata movements, arias and plums by the masters of the Baroque, namely Johan Sebastian Bach, Wilhelm Friedemann Bach and Handel. Here is a star team of the city's musicians; soprano Hilde Gjermundsen, Trine Knutsen (flute), Kåre Aambø (oboe), Øyvind Gimse (cello) and Erling With Aasgaard (harpsichord). Rejoice, today's super plum will be Handel's otherworldly "Lascia ch‘io pianga"!
