Naturvernforbundet and Trondheim Public Library are collaborating to organise a clothes swap event on Saturday 17 October. The clothes swap event will be held at the Main Library in Trondheim on the third floor.
Bring up to seven clean, whole, fresh garments - and get swap tickets that you can use to obtain other garments. We accept both children's and youth clothes, women's and men's clothes.
We want good quality clothes and do not accept vests, t-shirts with advertising on them or discoloured clothes. This year we have also decided that we do not accept clothes from well-known ultra fast fashion producers such as Shein and Temu.
Times for handing in clothes at the main library:
Thursday 15:00 - 18:00
Friday 11:00 - 16:00
It is possible to hand in clothes on the clothes swap event day itself until 13:00.
There will be an opportunity to have simple repairs and alterations done on clothes. We have experienced seamstresses available, but bring extra parts such as zips and buttons yourself.
Maximum 1 repair or clothes alteration per person.
