In 2025, Tone Damli will mark 20 years as one of Norway's most visible and beloved artists. Since her breakthrough on Idol in 2005, she has been a permanent part of Norwegian popular culture - with six albums, countless singles, TV appearances, tours, love breakups, two children, house building that has received more media coverage than most politicians could dream of. And not least: A long-awaited engagement.
In this show, Tone Damli takes us inside a life divided between the spotlight, the music studio and the life of a toddler. For over two decades, Tone has navigated both tribute and harsh criticism, reality and red carpets, MGP in both Norway and Sweden, and recently Maskorama and the podcast "Råning med Tone". She has never won a singing competition, rarely received a good review - but she has won something far more important: the hearts of the audience. That is precisely what this anniversary celebrates: the journey from Idol audition to an established place in Norwegian entertainment.
Tone herself describes it this way: "I dreamed of becoming Norway's Shania Twain. Now I'm aiming more for Wenche Myhre."
The anniversary tour takes the audience through highlights, vulnerability, humor and stories that have never before been told from the stage. There will be musical flashbacks and new interpretations of songs from the entire catalog - from "Bliss", "Butterflies" to "I Know".
Because this anniversary is not about dice rolls or tabloids - but about the girl who has always dreamed of becoming a singing lady, and can now celebrate 20 years on stage.
