Yoga and Sound Meditation at Kunsthall Trondheim

Welcome to a movement and sound journey to relax your mind and nourish your body and soul.
The combination of Hatha Yoga and Sound Meditation on the Monochord invites you to start the week in a mindful way and leaves you rested and recharged.
Each session starts with a short meditation and breathing exercises before we enter the Hatha Yoga Flow. In the last half hour you are invited to experience the oceanic spherical sounds of the monochord during the sound meditation.
Everyone is welcome and previous experience is not required.

Please bring: Comfortable clothes to move in and extra warm clothes, blanket, eye mask if needed for the relaxation part, water bottle and yoga mat (a few mats will be available on site).
Bio: Anna Thu Schmidt is a dance artist and certified Yoga teacher. She completed her Hatha Yoga Teacher Training in Indonesia and has additional training in Yin Yoga, Flying Yoga, Accessible Yoga, Healing Dance (aquatic bodywork), and feeltone Sound Massage & Sound Therapy. Sound meditation is an indispensable part of her yoga practice. Her companion is the feeltone Monochord. Anna arranges retreats with Yoga, Movement and Sound in Germany and Norway. She also leads ImproDans Trondheim and Contemporary Dance for Adults, offers workshops in contact improvisation and WaterContact and started up PRAXIS Trondheim and Ecstatic Dance in Trondheim.
